We went here for dinner yesterday and have no regrets .... great atmosphere and nice staff! Food was also great! Highly recommended ... always gladly!

Super friendly staff and delicious, varied dishes! Unfortunately no vegetarian (vegan) dishes on the menu, there was a ravioli menu on request. The ravioli were very good, but a shame that it is not a given.

A nice ambience, excellent home-style cuisine with modern accents and great service - these are my impressions from yesterday's visit. Important in the current situation - the hygiene rules are implemented and adhered to very well, even if the place is full. We definitely recommend the crispy Sauerland as a starter and the Halunkenschnitzel.

We ate there for the golden wedding in a small setting. Without exception, every meal was great. Everyone was very nice and if we can, we'll come back, I promise.

Very nice restaurant, went out for dinner & came back the next day for coffee & dinner. The apple strudel & the schnitzel "Viennese style" and perfectly seasoned French fries are particularly recommended. The young lady is particularly friendly.

Probably the nicest Restaurant in Winterberg. Best Apfelstrudel and Kaiserschmarn Atmospheric, great taste and good price-value ratio. Go there for dinner or at coffee time at the afternoon and enjoy! ?

By far the best kitchen in Winterberg !!!! Delicious, deliciously flavored and also a great sight for the eyes! The food is served with love. Unlike in other restaurants, you don't just "clap" the sauce and side dishes in one heap. No, the sauce, fries and salad are served separately and you can decide for yourself how to consume your schnitzel, etc. The location is very attractive and comfortably furnished! Unfortunately we could not order any more drinks at 5:20 p.m. It was only possible to have a drink in connection with dinner. We were told that all tables were needed for dinner. At our time there were only two guests in the restaurant. A shame, we would have had two nice gin and tonic and would have moved on

Restaurant with terrace in the busy center of Winterberg. We had a very nice dinner here with our family last night. Delicious steak, pork medallions, currywurst and Wiener cutlets.

Food was delicious. The service a little less would have liked me more with a smile, now the corona plays a role in this of course, but still. Hygiene was excellent

The best potato soup and steak in ages. The chef deserves a big 10. Again, the service can be more hospitable. And it is not possible to ask 2 euros for 4 bags of mayonnaise. But yes, we remain tourists.

We were there as a couple in July 2020. At the market square in Winterberg, with a beautiful terrace. They serve and cook with love for their homeland. Our recommendation, gladly again and again.

Ordered another dish. Instead of scoundrels I got a schnitzel. Everything seems a bit too expensive. My companion got a very strange salad that probably didn't taste good either. A door hangs from the ceiling in the restaurant. What shoud that?

Delicious dinner with family. Hospitable. Large portions. Recommended! Reasonable prices. Lots of space on the terrace.

Sensational love of home. We are thrilled and in love ? Wonderful restaurant - very attentive service - fantastic food - excellent cuisine. We haven't eaten so well for a long time - high quality - great presentation - nice plate - rump steak very tender. Relaxed atmosphere - very clean. It doesn't get any better than this Everything perfect - 5 stars ? ? ? ? ? Any time.

Good location on the market. Food was delicious. Because of the rain, the awning was opened especially for us so that we could sit outside and still not get wet. Service is particularly recommended.

Great steak together with a nice local kellerbeer. Can defenitely recommend.

Food is ok-ish, not very special.

If to sum up it was ok, but not wonderful. There are no English menus, only 1 waitress could speak English and she helped to choose the dishes, which was very nice of her. It was a very busy night, 31st of December, so sometimes our orders were forgotten and we had to remind them several times. We were welcome with our dog which was very nice.

Qualitative food. Very nice tomatoo soup (must try). Pity you dont get bread with your main dish. Friendly staff

Love it so much. Stay in winterberg for four days. Went to many restaurants to make some change. But at the end. This restaurant is my favorite. Especially the Rumpsteak. My favorite meal. The staf also very friendly. I'll go back here again and again. Keep the good work.
